AVP-PATIENT CARE - Oregon Region. Variable shift, & & variable & 40 hours per week. & This position is salaried and therefore exempt from overtime pay. & Open 1/27/2006. $30.92 per hour minimum. & $37.12 per hour midpoint. & $43.28 per hour maximum. Masters Degree in Nursing required. Will consider filling as clinical nurse educator for an RN who is 1 year into the MSN program. Upgrade to clinical nurse specialist would occur when licensure received. Current Registered Nurse in Oregon. Current Clinical Nurse Specialist licensure in the State of Oregon. Broad clinical experience and a minimum of 2 years recent nursing practice in related specialty . This position will cover the orthopedic/Surgical Unit and Float Pool. Demonstrated competence in assessing learning needs, developing orientation programs and teaching of clinical staff. Ability to establish standards of practice in a specific area of clinical nursing to ensure exceptional care. Evaluate staff compliance with standards of practice. Provides consultation to patients/families, staff and other health care providers to improve patient outcomes. Acts as a role model in providing expert nursing care.
